A new model of community welfare in the heart of Turin

Thanks to years of experience in supporting vulnerable groups, a careful observation of the local social context, and an in-depth analysis of community needs, Quore has developed a unique and innovative project, namely a new socio-cultural hub in Turin. The initiative will take place in the former Dora Vanchiglia Police Station in Corso Farini 20, currently being renovated and redeveloped with the support of the City of Turin and PNRR funds – Mission 5 “Inclusion and Cohesion” (EU Recovery Funds).

A multifunctional center

TOHOUSING+ is a new multifunctional center that expands the social housing model launched with the TOHOUSING project, located just a few doors away. Designed for the local community and neighborhood, TOHOUSING+ stands for inclusion, diversity, local growth, and strong community roots. Its mission is to generate long-lasting, systemic change by addressing the needs of those at risk of exclusion and marginalization—particularly LGBT+ people, seniors, low-income families, and migrants.

Social housing

At the heart of the project is a housing service for LGBT+ people and community spaces to host training activities, workshops, cultural initiatives and local events for the broader neighborhood.

TOHOUSING+ will continue to strengthen a community development process that began six years ago, with the aim of promoting collective well-being and building a truly inclusive and welcoming local network.

In addition to PNRR funds, the project is made possible thanks to the essential support of long-standing allies and new partners who, together with Associazione Quore, embody a strong sense of civic responsibility and a shared commitment to building equality and inclusion.
